Roger Nowak planted the seed of AXP Auto all the way back in 1987, working with his father, Paul, and brother, Bob. Roger completed his degree at Blue Hills Regional Technical School in automotive repair, and set to work with the family business. After many years, Roger decided to go out on his own and in 1997, AXP Auto opened its doors.
The story of AXP Auto doesn’t end there. In 2008, just a few days before Christmas, the shop caught fire. This disaster turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as a four bay shop came on the market, not even two miles from the original AXP Auto. After the rehabilitation of the original location, this new four bay shop became AXP Auto’s second location, with the third location opening in Braintree in 2018. With the original shop moved to a newly renovated location as well, the three shops of AXP Auto are now here to help Massachusetts drivers with their vehicles.
The story doesn’t stop there; Roger’s son, Noah, began working with his dad at the shop in high school. Noah saw his father struggling with the paperwork side of the business, so he got his degree in accounting and went to work with the business full-time after college. At AXP Auto, it is very much a family affair.
Roger is still the face of AXP Auto. In his spare time, he likes traveling, biking, trying new foods, and spending time with his family. Roger has two sons, Roger Jr. and Noah, and one daughter, Larissa.
